You helped us plant 3,078 trees in April!

We believe in using our platform to make the world a better place–which is why every month, we select a different non-profit organization to donate a portion of proceeds to make positive changes to the world our children will inherit. In honor of Earth Day, we partnered with Sprout and the Eden Reforestation Project to plant multiple trees for every TickTalk 4 purchase for the entire month of April. 

30 days later and we’re excited to share that thanks to you, we were able to plant 3,078 trees! Working with the Eden Reforestation Project, a portion of your purchase helped restore forests on a massive scale by planting Mangrove trees to create local jobs, protect ecosystems, and support wildlife diversity in countries such as Brazil, Madagascar, Mozambique, Kenya, Haiti, Ethiopia, Nepal, Indonesia, Honduras, and the Philippines. 

Planting trees has a huge impact on our children’s futures. Carbon sequestration, or the process of capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide, is one of the biggest benefits of planting trees. Mangrove trees are one of the most important carbon stocks, with mangrove systems estimated to hold 20 petagrams of carbon–that’s 20 billion metric tons! Mangrove trees also help create uniquely diverse ecosystems, both on land and in water, preserving the natural habitat for hundreds of species of animals and allowing our children to experience these animals in their lifetimes.
