PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BREA, California – TickTalk announces the third installment of their TickTalk Gives initiative, a commitment to giving back, to donate holiday gifts to the patients of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Starting on December 1st, TickTalk will automatically donate a portion of every TickTalk 4 smartwatch and accessory bundle purchase directly to CHOC to help bring families joy this holiday season.
CHOC’s annual Holiday Toy Drive requests gifts for patients ranging from infants to young adults to help normalize the hospital experience for families. Gifts include arts and crafts, books, action figures, card games, night lights, sound machines, and more to help children meet developmental milestones, ease stress, and process difficult emotions while facing in-patient treatment.
“My heart breaks for the children who cannot spend the holidays at home with their families,” said Ying Gong, President and Co-Founder of TickTalk Tech LLC. “Through this Give Back campaign, we hope to bring not only smiles to children’s faces, but a sense of normalcy and comfort to their families in these unfathomable circumstances. My hope is for these families to know they are not alone and our entire community is here to support them.”
CHOC is one of the leading children’s hospitals in the nation, caring for an average 250,000 infants and children every year with almost 400 beds at their two Orange County based hospitals. CHOC cares for ages ranging from infancy to young adults with top rated specialities in neonatology, cancer, endocrinology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, and urology.
By continuing their Gives Back initiatives, TickTalk hopes the efforts will inspire others to give back to their community. To donate toys to CHOC, supporters can place an order on TickTalk’s website and TickTalk will automatically donate on their behalf. Donations can also be made directly on CHOC’s website.
